About the Guild
The sole focus of the Mother/Daughter Artist Guild is to encourage, uplift and celebrate the maternal connection between mothers and daughters and how they share their bonds though their art.
For membership in this Guild, the only requirements are:
1) that there is a maternal connection between the duo, trio, etc., such as mother and daughter, grandmother and granddaughter, etc.*
2) that each is an "artist" in some form of art, whether it is fine art, graphic art, performing art, fiber art, pottery, filmmaking, crafting, designing, styling and such.
*A member may enroll, as part of the mother/daughter artist duo membership, a deceased artist mother, daughter, or grandmother. The artwork of the deceased member can be included as part of the mother/daughter artist duo in exhibits and shows.
The Goals of the Mother/Daughter Artist Guild Are:

To recognize and celebrate the unique and special talents shared by mother/daughter artist duos | |

To encourage the creative development of mother/daughter artist duos by: | |

meeting as a group, locally, regionally, statewide and nationally to discuss and share artwork, creative ideas and artistic journeys |

seeking exhibit sites, locally, regionally, statewide and nationally in order to enlighten the pubic of the unique talents of mother/daughter artist duos, trios, etc. | |
|
supporting the continued creative development of mother/daughter artist duos by attending and/or offering art exhibits, performances, classes, workshops, conferences, etc. | |
